How do I delete my Login.gov account?

There are several reasons why you might need to delete your Login.gov account. For example, you may have multiple Login.gov accounts and only want one, or you might be locked out of your Login.gov account and do not have access to your authentication methods. In order to delete your Login.gov account, you may follow the directions located at: https://www.login.gov/help/manage-your-account/delete-your-account/.

Before you delete your Login.gov account, you should review all programs linked to that account and the implications of deleting. Please note FSAFEDS must always be accessed using a Login.gov account. To link a new or existing Login.gov account to your FSAFEDS account they must share an email in common.
